The City-Haus is located on the border of the Westend district and lies directly on the Platz der Republik in Frankfurt. The building is also known as the Selmi high-rise and was built between 1971 and 1974 according to plans by architects Johannes Krahn and Richard Heil. Between October 2007 and December 2008, the City-Hochhaus was extensively renovated and revitalised according to plans by architect Christoph Mäckler. The user of the bank tower is DZ Bank.
