The series, "Harlequin Years" contains architectural abstracts of the rear side of the impressive building complex that houses the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing in Wilhelmsburg, Hamburg. I have taken photos of this building before but this time I went to back, in the courtyard. I was astonished to see that the back of the buildings with their wave-like curves are more fascinating than the facade. Whether the front or back is better, the Ministry stands out like harlequin ribbons in the centre of Wilhelmsburg.
