THE APPROACH
The Sculptural Soul
of Structure
Form
My work begins where function ends. I approach architecture not as utility, but as pure sculpture - isolating sharp angles, sweeping curves, and complex repetitions to reveal the underlying geometry that gives a structure its character.
Light & Shadow
Chiaroscuro is the foundation of my visual language. By using deep, intentional shadows and piercing highlights, I carve dimension out of concrete, steel, and glass, stripping away the distractions of context to expose raw texture and weight.
Scale
At the intersection of massive architecture and the solitary human form lies a quiet narrative. My photography explores space not just as a physical location, but as an atmospheric experience of solitude, wonder, and silence.
Form Beyond Function
My work begins by overlooking the intended function of a building. I do not document real estate or utility; instead, I treat architecture as pure sculpture, concentrating entirely on its form and core essence. By stripping away the surrounding environment, I isolate the clean lines, sharp angles, and geometric rhythms hidden within modern structures.
Using high contrast and deep shadows, I extract raw texture and dimension from concrete, steel, and glass. Whether capturing a monumental facade or the quiet scale of a solitary figure, the goal is always to reduce a complex, functional space down to its absolute visual essentials.
